A Celebration to Support the Orphans
of AIDS.

This June, people all over the country will hold house parties celebrating the Day of the African Child to help support Young Heroes Foundation, which cares for over 1,000 AID orphans in the Kingdom of Swaziland - the nation with the world's highest rate of HIV/AIDS.

Because Young Heroes is based in Northampton, MA, we'll be marking the day in a bigger way with a celebration of art and music from Africa and the U.S. We hope you'll join us.

About Young Heroes Foundation

Young Heroes Foundation is a 501(c)(3) corporation. Now entering its fourth year, the program was founded by Leeds native Steve Kallaugher while serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Swaziland, the country with the world's highest rate of HIV. Young Heroes provides monthly stipends directly to orphan households for children's food, clothing and other necessities.

In addition, a new Young Heroes education program is paying full costs for 24 orphans at three secondary schools in Siteki, Swaziland. We're working now on a program of medical care for all our HIV+ orphans, which we hope to implement later this year.

Because all our operating costs are underwritten by Swaziland's National Emergency Response Council on HIV/AIDS (NERCHA), 100% of all funds we raise now go directly to the orphans.
