Swazi Challenge 2020: Choose Your Challenge

We’re raring to go – Swazi Challenge 2020 registration is open!

Which challenge will you choose to help support Young Heroes orphans and vulnerable children? Whichever you choose, you’re guaranteed an experience like no other.

See Africa in a close-up way that few are privileged to see. And be part of an educational and immersive journey for a good cause: To help Young Heroes reach our goal of raising $100,000 to support orphan families with monthly stipends, medical care and vocational training.

Explore Beautiful Landscapes or Visit Rural Communities

  • Swazi Cycle Challenge: Cyclists enjoy a multi-day bike ride following an itinerary of carefully selected routes that include mountain biking; off-road riding on dirt paths through the rural countryside, a swing on less-traveled roads, and maybe a grinder or two. You’ll travel through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Africa.
  • Swazi Service Challenge: Service participants join the Young Heroes team to visit rural communities with our staff and volunteers to take part in our projects, meet our families and help us accomplish our mission. You’ll see firsthand why Young Heroes work is so necessary.

At night, we’ll join up to share the day’s stories. And at the end of the trip, there’s more adventure in store for those who would like to stay for an extra weekend. We’ll arrange accommodation and VIP tickets for the incomparable MTN Bushfire Festival, which brings together the best in music, theater, art and dance from Africa and beyond.

Read the wrap up about last year’s adventure for a taste of the Swazi journey. One previous participant said:

“When I describe the trip to people I use a thousand different words including rewarding, challenging, adrenaline-pumping, hysterically funny and inspiring. But the word that sums it up most for me is ‘fun’.”

Take a look at the itinerary for Swazi Challenge 2020 and the trip you’ll enjoy. If you are unable to join us, you can help by supporting one of our Swazi Challenge members. Take a once-in-a-lifetime journey or support from afar by making a pledge today.

Siyabonga (we thank you) on behalf of our kids.
