Young Heroes’ New Partnership Dubbed ‘a Beacon of Hope’ for Gender-Based Violence Cases

Young Heroes has entered into a partnership with the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs through Legal Aid Eswatini. This collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding with Principal Secretary Lindiwe Mbingo, focuses on enhancing access to justice for Young Heroes’ project beneficiaries, particularly those affected by gender-based violence (GBV).

“This partnership is a pivotal step in addressing the vulnerabilities faced by children and youth in Eswatini,” stated Young Heroes Executive Director, Khulekani Magongo. “It serves as a catalyst for both organizations to bolster their efforts in providing crucial support to our beneficiaries.”

By working together, Young Heroes and Legal Aid Eswatini will collaborate to tackle the social and legal challenges confronting young people in the country. This partnership is expected to significantly improve the lives of young people by offering them legal representation when faced with injustices, and ensuring they receive efficient support across all Young Heroes and implementing partner constituencies.
