Expanding Opportunity, Health, and Economic Empowerment For Eswatini’s Youth

Young Heroes and the Eswatini National Youth Council (ENYC) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding at Emafini Country Lodge in Mbabane, establishing a strategic partnership focused on expanding opportunity, health, and economic empowerment for young people across the country.

In his remarks, ENYC Chief Executive Officer, Lwazi Mamba, highlighted the natural alignment between the two institutions. He emphasized that the programs implemented by ENYC and Young Heroes already intersect in many spaces, creating a powerful platform for synergy. Through this partnership, both organizations can significantly expand their reach and impact among young people in Eswatini.

Representing Young Heroes, Executive Director Khulekani Magongo described the signing as a breakthrough moment for the thousands of young people the organization has served over the past 20 years. He reaffirmed Young Heroes’ commitment to working collaboratively with ENYC to unlock greater opportunities for youth across the country.

Through this partnership, the two organizations will work together to strengthen youth development initiatives, including entrepreneurship and vocational skills development, HIV prevention education, leadership and mentorship programs, and improved access to opportunities for vulnerable and out-of-school youth.
