Taiwan ICDF, in partnership with TEX RAY INDUSTRIAL CO, LTD, contributed to the well-being of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) supported by Young Heroes. A donation of 2,782 t-shirts was presented to the organization – demonstrating Taiwan ICDF’s commitment to combating HIV/AIDS and uplifting Eswatini’s youth.
At the presentation of the donation, USAID Country Director Christopher Detwiler emphasized the crucial role of investing in the next generation. He lauded the progress made in HIV prevention. Mr Detwiler stressed the importance of continued efforts to mentor and support young people, ensuring an HIV-free future for Eswatini.
Embassy’s Minister Ching-Lin Tsuei of the Republic of China on Taiwan echoed the importance of prioritizing the welfare of all Eswatini citizens. The t-shirt donation is seen as a vital step towards not only combating HIV/AIDS but also broadening the horizons of young people in the fight against the epidemic. Young Heroes is the ideal partner to further this objective.
Young Heroes Executive Director Khulekani Magongo expressed gratitude for the partnership, which aligns with the organization’s mission: To empower youth and create a society of capable and self-determined individuals.
