Giving Tuesday 2019: Harness the Power of Community

Created in 2012 as a simple idea, Giving Tuesday encourages people to do good. The day has been transformed into a movement harnessing the power of community. Join the world on tuesday, 3 december 2019 in a global generosity movement.

Young Heroes will be participating in Giving Tuesday this year with a goal of raising $3,000 to sponsor orphan families, and providing much-needed financial, medical, educational and psychosocial support. By spreading the word through your networks, you can help us reach that goal. Share our Giving Tuesday platform, this post, and our website with your online communities to familiarize your audiences with our work. Don’t forget to add #GivingTuesday to your posts.

Free Tool Helps Donors Double Their Donations

Matching gifts help us maximize our funds. For Giving Tuesday 2019, Double the Donation is opening up its service. Free for approximately two weeks to users in the US, donors can search its database for access to companies that match employee donations. Some of the searchable information includes:

  • Company specific matching gift guidelines and forms
  • Employee eligibility
  • Minimum and maximums matched
  • Nonprofit eligibility

How Double the Donation Works

Between 26 november 2019 through 10 december 2019, visit Double the Donation. There you can determine if your company offers matching gifts and review the details. It’s fast and it’s easy.

There are many other ways to support us from choosing Young Heroes Foundation at Amazon Smile – donate while you shop – to donating stock.

Help us celebrate this day of generosity. Kick-off the beginning of the giving season by making a donation. And, you don’t have to wait until Giving Tuesday – Young Heroes’ Giving Tuesday site is open now.
