New Program Targets Youth

Building on the success of our previous Umliba project, Young Heroes launched Insika Ya Kusasa (“The Pillars of Tomorrow”) in October 2018.

The program targets youth aged 15-24 in order to prevent new HIV infections and reduce vulnerability among orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), and adolescent girls and young women in four Hhohho communities. It offers a comprehensive range of OVC services, caregiver services, HIV services and youth-friendly clinical services.

Insika has been made possible by the generosity of the American people through a two-year grant from USAID and PEPFAR.
