Pledge Now: Swazi Cycle 8 Needs Your Support

It’s a trip like no other for cyclists and amblers – a chance to visit the Kingdom of Swaziland.

Our participating Swazi Cycle 8 adventurers will experience Africa in a close-up way that few are privileged to see. And they’re doing it for a good cause: To help Young Heroes reach our goal of raising $100,000 to support orphan families.

With less than a month before Swazi Cycle 8 begins, our goal is in sight. But we still have work to do, and with your help, we can achieve so much more for orphans and vulnerable children. Your support makes a real, lasting impact in the lives of our kids who are still in need.

Since Young Heroes’ launch in early 2006, we have impacted more than 14,000 orphans and vulnerable children through monthly life-support stipends, HIV testing, counseling, and care plans.

Our programs reach further:

  • Through our Healthcare Program, over 5,000 children have been seen by a medical practitioner. For many it was their first time.
  • Over 300 orphans who have turned 19 have moved on to our STEP program, becoming certified in their vocational fields.
  • Our Litsemba program launched in 2017 and has provided over 3,000 orphans with a daily meal and a caring adult presence.

Help push us across the finish line. Help us help our Young Heroes.
